More than 25 environmental organizations are scheduled to participate in the event, which will feature live eagle shows, bird walks, bus tours, live music, children's activities and food trucks loaded with meals. Bedford Turkey Trot Kicks Off On Saturday BEDFORD, N.Y. -- The 12th-annual Bedford Turkey Trot, a mainstay race in Bedford Village, will be held on Saturday morning. The race kicks off at 9 a.m. on Court Road, which is in front of Bedford Village Elementary school. It will end at Bedford Village Memorial Park.  The race is 3.1 miles, which means that it is a 5K. Registration is scheduled to take place at the park at 7:45 a.m., with a check-in deadline of 8:30 a.m. for all runners. This year's Turkey Trot reports having 475 entires.
