Student, 16, Brings Metal Knuckles To Freedom High School: Cops
A 16-year-old boy from Woodbridge was caught with metal knuckles on school grounds Monday, May 6, police said. A school resource officer found the Freedom High School student in possession of the knuckles while investigating a tip, county police said. Police said that "the knuckles were not part of any threat to other students, faculty, or staff." Officers sought petitions against the boy and after consultation with Juvenile Court Services, the case resulted in formal action and will be handled through the court process at a later date.

Prince William County have launched a death investigation after a decomposed body was found in Woodbridge, they said. The harrowing discovery was made just before 5:30 p.m. Sunday, May 5 on Dawson Beach Road near Highams Court, police said. A 43-year-old man was charged with abduction after a dispute with a much younger, female tenant in Woodbridge, police said. Elith Samuel Parada was arguing with the 23-year-old tenant at a home on the 2700 block of Burrough Hill Lane in Woodbridge around 10:30 p.m. april 21, when he physically prevented her from leaving the home, county police said.
