PA Man Steals $40K In Jewelry From Morris County Home: Police
A 34-year-old man from Albrightsville, Pa. man was arrested and charged on Thursday, Feb. 15 after he stole $40,000 in jewelry from a house in Morris County, NJ police said. The man, who was not identified by Washington Township police, was arrested after an investigation into the theft from a Long Valley home, officers said. The man was charged with theft in the third degree, police said.

Men Who Passed Counterfeit $100 Bills Sought In Washington Township
Two men passed counterfeit $100 bills at two local businesses in Warren County last month, Washington Township police said. Washington Township Police are attempting to locate the two unidentified Black men and said other agencies throughout the state have seen the same men passing counterfeit $100 bills. Paul Corra was found in Middlesex County, Washington Township Police Chief Richard Skinner said early Friday, April 29. A Morris County accountant has been charged after police say he defrauded a victim out of $3,100. The victim told Washington Township Police that the accountant was hired to help the victim file a tax amendment in July 2021, authorities said. The victim gave the accountant the amendment fee of $3,100 but after following up learned that the accountant never filed the amendment and instead pocketed the money, police say.
