Cause Of Ephrata Man's Fatal Series Of Crashes Into Cocalico Creek Revealed New details have been released after a man crashed his car into Cocalico Creek. Marlin Fausnacht, 77 of the 800 block of Pointview Avenue,  Ephrata, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash into the creek at 6:18 a.m., according to the Lancaster County Coroner's Office.  He was initially thought to have had a medical event before driving his Toyota Corolla off the 100 block of Old Mill Road in the borough. Pound Ridge Volunteer Firefighter, Mailman Peter Beccaria, 89 Peter Richard Beccaria, a longtime mailman in Northern Westchester and a volunteer firefighter in Pound Ridge for half a century, died at age 89 in Palm Coast, Florida. He was born on December 27, 1928 in Mount Kisco to Esther and Frank Beccaria. He attended school in Pound Ridge and Katonah and then served four years in the Navy in Korea. Peter married his wife Peggy in 1959 and had two sons, Michael and Patrick.  He moved to Palm Coast from Pound Ridge in 2003.
