An elongated tractor trailer took down a traffic control signal in a tight turn at a Paramus intersection Tuesday, Oct. 10. A tractor-trailer overturned blocking the New Jersey Turnpike, authorities said. The crash occurred at 8:24 a.m. near Interchange 7 (Route 206) in Bordentown Township, according to New Jersey State Police. Police ID Pedestrian Struck, Killed By Truck In Stafford County
A 54-year-old pedestrian was struck and killed by a truck in Stafford County, authorities said. Karen Vincent, of Stafford, died at the scene of the crash on Kings Highway and Forest Lane Road around 1:40 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 2, according to the Stafford County Sheriff's Office. Motorists can expect major delays in the area as a stretch of Route 304 will be closed for several hours due to an overturned truck that has spilled debris across the roadway.
