Man Crashes Truck Into Cars, Building Before Running Away In Taunton
A 22-year-old man slammed into multiple cars and embedded his truck into a building in Taunton early Sunday morning, Aug. 13, then ran away, authorities said. Officers received 911 calls just after 2 a.m. that said a Toyota Tundra had hit three cars and a commercial building at 59 Broadway, Taunton Police said. Toyota Recalling 168K Pick-Up Trucks Due To Possible Fire Risk
Toyota is conducting a large safety recall involving certain late model pick-up trucks. The auto giant announced that approximately 168,000 2022 and 2023 Toyota Tundra and Tundra Hybrid vehicles are subject to the recall due to a possible fire hazard. According to the company, the vehicles included in the recall are equipped with a plastic fuel tube that can move and rub against a brake line, developing a fuel leak. Police ID Victim Of Fatal New Haven Single-Vehicle Crash
Police have identified the victim of a fatal single-vehicle crash in Connecticut. New Haven County resident Kevin Gormley, age 68, of West Haven, was killed around 6:15 p.m., Saturday, March 25 near the entrance to Fort Nathan Hale Park in New Haven. Arriving officers found the front end of a Toyota Tundra abutted against a wooden guard rail on Woodward Avenue across the street from the entrance to the park, said Capt. Fatal Multi-Vehicle Crash In Tyngsborough Claims One Life: Police
One person is dead following a multi-car crash in Tyngsborough, authorities said. Police responded to the crash at 147 Frost Road around 3:47 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 3, Tyngsborough Police Chief Richard Howe said in a release. Upon arrival, officers found what appeared to be a head-on collision between a Toyota Tundra, carrying four people, and a Toyota Corolla, carrying three people. One person was killed and several others injured during a four-vehicle crash in Fairfield County. It happened around 5 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 15 in the area of 47 Sugar Hollow Road in Danbury. According to Det. Lt. Mark Willams, of the Danbury Police, a preliminary investigation shows that a 2019 Nissan Rogue traveling southbound crossed over the double yellow line into oncoming traffic. A Suffolk County man was driving a 2018 Toyota Tundra out of his driveway in Shirley, located on Floyd Road North, when the vehicle struck the young boy, Kameron Wilson, who was standing on the roadway Saturday, May 8, at approximately 10:30 a.m., Suffolk County Police said. Several lanes of Route 80 eastbound were temporarily closed following a three-vehicle crash involving a tractor-trailer in Morris County Wednesday afternoon, state police said. The crash — which also involved a Toyota Tundra and a Jeep Grand Cherokee — occurred near milepost 30.4 in Mount Arlington Borough just after 2:25 p.m., NJSP Trooper Alejandro Goez told Daily Voice. An 8-year-old boy was airlifted with serious injuries to the hospital after he was hit by a pickup truck while he was riding a dirt bike. The incident took place in Dutchess County around 8:30 a.m., Wednesday, June 10, in the Town of Rhinebeck, said New York State Police Trooper AJ Hicks.
