Justice has been served for some communities in Maryland after suspects implicated in a string of hate crimes at area churches were arrested. Three people are in custody in Anne Arundel County after terrorizing places of worship throughout Odenton and Annapolis over the past several weeks, authorities announced on Thursday, June 29. NJ Mayor Who Opposed Pride Flag Raising Ousted By Colleagues
A New Jersey mayor who allegedly called some fellow elected officials "not good Catholics" for supporting the raising of a rainbow flag during Pride Month was removed from office by members of his own party. Police are investigating after signs with the words "groomers" were placed under a Pride flag at a Fairfield County Town Hall, just hours after a celebration. Hate Crime At LGBTQ+ Center In Adams County Brings Community Together
A slur was written on the side of an LGBTQ+ counseling center in Adams County over the weekend. The slur reading in part "God Laughs Die," was sprayed in red paint outside the office of the Phoenix Counseling Center near Gettysburg on Sunday.
