Motorcyclist Killed In Atlantic City Crash: Police A 61-year-old motorcyclist from Pleasantville was killed in a crash, authorities said. The crash occurred at 8:42 p.m. on Sunday, June 18 near mile marker 54 on the eastbound lanes of Route 30, Atlantic City police said. Police found that Pearl Matthew had been ejected from his seat. He was pronounced dead at the crash scene. A preliminary investigation, that included witness statements, revealed that Matthews left the roadway and struck a pole. Teen Bicyclist Critically Hurt In South Jersey A 14-year-old bicyclist from Pleasantville was critically hurt in a collision with a vehicle, authorities said. The crash occurred on Saturday, Nov. 5 at about 6 p.m. on Ocean Heights Avenue at a bike path, Somers Point police said. The youth was taken to Atlanticare Trauma Center and then airlifted to Cooper Trauma Center. The vehicle was driven by Tia Coppin, 25, of Atlantic City, police said. Police said speed was not a factor in the collision, and no summonses had been issued.

Woman, 31, Dead In 1 Car Atlantic County Crash A 31-year-old woman was killed in a one car crash in Pleasantville early Tuesday morning, authorities said. Allison Tomasello was heading northbound on North Main Street when her car veered off the road and hit a retention wall and telephone pole around 6:30 a.m., police said. The Somers Point resident was pronounced dead at the scene near the Utah Street corner.  The crash is under investigation.
