Man Records 19-Year-Old Changing In Mineola: Police An exterminator on Long Island was arrested after he allegedly sprayed his 19-year-old victim with chemicals, encouraged her to change clothes, and then recorded her doing so. It happened on Thursday, Feb. 22  just before 3 p.m. in Mineola, according to Nassau County Police. Walter Rivas, age 45, showed up at the apartment of a 19-year-old woman who had hired a technician from Joroba Pest Control to exterminate her apartment. NJ Waging War Against Spotted Lanternflies — With Cash Communities across New Jersey can get help from the state to squash the invasive spotted lanternfly. The state's agriculture department says counties can apply for up to $50,000 to battle spotted lanternflies from 2024 to 2026. Municipalities can receive up to $20,000. Counties and municipalities can be paid back for chemical treatment activities to kill the invasive insects. Spotted lanternflies don't harm humans or animals but can hurt about 70 types of trees and plants. Bed Bugs Force Cinema Closure In Central Pennsylvania: Police When bed bugs go to the movies, they tend to stay longer than a double feature, as one central Pennsylvania cinema is unfortunately discovering.  The Regal Cinema located at 1500 Caughey Drive in  Harrisburg, Susquehanna Township apparently has had several reports of the pests, according to a release by area police on Nov. 16.  "The Susquehanna Township Codes Department has ordered several Theaters to be closed until the situation is remedied through Pest Control," the police say. Additional information, including a possible reopening date, has not been released.

Investigators are seeking the public’s assistance in locating Mark Zieman, who is wanted by State Police and the Town of Southeast Court following his arrest in 2017. It is alleged that Zieman stole money and items from an acquaintance he was housesitting for.
