The incident took place in Bridgeport on Sunday, Sept. 17 on the 200 block of  Willow Street. Reading Man Shot In Mouth Over Dispute With Neighbor: Police A Reading man took a bullet to the mouth during an argument with a neighbor, authorities say.  Police were dispatched to a home on the 500 block of South Court just before 9 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 29 after receiving reports of gunfire, officials said in a release.  On arrival, officers said they found a 29-year-old man suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the mouth. Nikia Rankins, age 27, of Hartford, died on Friday, July 1 from injuries incurred during the incident on Sunday, June 19. Dispute Over Leaf-Blowing Leads To Arrest A dispute between neighbors over leaf-blowing led to a Milford man’s arrest, Wed., Aug. 6. Police responded to a Glen Street residence Wednesday at around 5 p.m. to find neighbors arguing about whether one of them blew leaves toward the other’s lawn. One of the neighbors, a 76-year-old man, allegedly threatened to have someone break the other person’s legs due to them blowing leaves towards his yard. The man was arrested for second-degree threatening.
