A man has died after being struck by two vehicles while attempting to cross a busy Connecticut highway. The incident occurred in New Haven County around 7:15 p.m., Wednesday, March 27 in the area of 1966 North Broad St. in Meriden. A 27-year-old Morristown man was arrested after he led police on a high-speed pursuit through Denville on the early morning of Thursday, Jan. 25. An elderly woman was injured after crashing her car into a shopping plaza in Whiting, authorities said. Manchester Township police responded to the wreck at Whiting Commons on Lacey Road just after 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 18. Officers found a black 2020 Hyundai Tucson had caused significant damage to the fronts of H&R Block and Wine World.
