It happened near the corner of Ironstone Drive and Willow Road, the Earl Township Fire Company said on Facebook. One person was injured when a car slammed into a home in Anville on Sunday morning, fire officials announced. The Bellegrove Fire Company was called to a report of a motor vehicle accident into a structure in the 1500 block of North State at 1:56 a.m., on Feb. 11, the company detailed in a release later that day. A Hasbrouck Heights motorist appeared OK after her SUV plowed into the attached garage of her home and borough firefighters extricated her, responders said. Firefighters in Garfield contained an intense attic blaze that severely damaged a single-family home. They got there quickly after smoke was reported coming out an attic window of the two-story, wood-frame home on Bergen Street shortly before 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 1. Deer Chased By Dog Dies After Crashing Through Window Of River Vale Home
It came in as a possible burglary in progress but turned out to be a horrific accident. Sometime before dawn Wednesday, a deer being chased by a dog crashed through the window of a River Vale home, police said. The gravely wounded deer eventually died, Capt. Chris Bulger said. Animal control removed the carcass from the Coopers Lane home, he said. “The dog appeared to be fine and the deer showed no signs of injury from the dog,” the captain said. While neighbors dealt with whipping winds and flash flood conditions, a Mount Vernon family had a bigger problem Monday morning when a massive tree came coming down on their house, leaving extensive damage. A Nuber Avenue family received quite the scare at approximately 7:30 a.m. on Monday morning, as wind gusts reached upwards of 40 mph in the area, unearthing the tree, which struck the side and roof of the home.
