New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo and his staff reportedly drew up a letter attacking the credibility of a former aide who was the first to make claims of sexual harassment against him, according to a report released on Tuesday. The New York Times reported that Cuomo and his staff drew up a letter targeting former aide Lindsey Boylan, who was the first of seven women to come out against the governor since December. Flags To Fly At Half-Staff In Honor Of On-Duty Soldier's Death
The American flag will be flying at half-staff in Massachusetts today, Monday, Jan. 25, to honor the recent death of a soldier who had been deployed overseas. On Jan. 5, in South Korea, Staff Sergeant James Lynch Wento of the U.S. Army died, the Governor’s office said. Wento was from Lynn and was 34 years old at the time of his death. People are required to wear their face masks for longer and in more situations under the newest economic restrictions to fight the spread of COVID-19 in Massachusetts. $33 Million In Pavement Resurfacing Projects Completed On Long Island
A long-needed $33 million paving project on Long Island has been completed. The completion of the project that included several major road resurfacing projects was announced on Thursday, Dec. 10, by Governor Andrew M. Cuomo. The projects were untaken to enhanced safety and improved travel conditions on portions of the Northern State Parkway and other well-traveled roads, the Governor's Office said. Arrest Made In Connection With 1998 Homicide Case Of 26-Year-Old CT Woman
More than 22 years after the murder of a Connecticut woman while she was walking along a trail, police have arrested a person in connection with the case. A staff member at a Westchester school has tested positive for novel coronavirus. Bronxville Schools Superintendent Roy Montesano issued an alert to parents on Wednesday stating that a member of the staff at The Bronxville School tested positive for COVID-19.
