Suspect Charged For 'Execution-Style' Murders In Fairmount Park: Philly PD
Authorities have charged 52-year-old Lamar Young with the double murder in Fairmount Park on Feb. 29, Philadelphia police say. Young is in police custody on two counts of murder, criminal conspiracy, firearms charges, and related offenses, PPD said in a release. Forty-nine-year-old Thurston Cooper and 38-year-old Krystina Chambers, both of Philadelphia, were found shot to death near 3800 Mount Pleasant Drive, police have said. Investigators said the possible motive is still unknown.

Police have identified the man they believe killed two people in central Pennsylvania last month. Shawn Hairston, 35, and Ana Scott, 42, were shot dead in a home on the first block of 16th Street in Harrisburg on Mar. 13, according to city police.
