Firefighters responded to Union Avenue near Route 287 in Finderne and were able to extinguish the tractor trailer fire along with three additional cars on the trailer, the Finderne Fire Department said on Facebook. A tractor trailer was engulfed in flames in Finderne. Finderne Fire Department Facebook Manville EMS and the Somerset County Haz-Mat team also responded, firefighters said. The GMC overturned as a result of the crash, and a passenger was ejected. The passenger died at the scene.
