Election Day Results: Races In Harrison, North Castle Separated By Handful Of Votes Two races for top positions in two Westchester municipalities are now only separated by a handful of votes, including one matchup that was decided by a single vote.  According to unofficial election results released by Westchester County, the supervisor races in both Harrison and North Castle have finished in a near dead heat.  In Harrison, the Republican candidate for Supervisor, Richard Dionisio, received 1,698 votes, only 19 more than his opponent, Democratic candidate Mark Jaffe, who received 1,679.  In North Castle, the race was even tighter, with the Democratic candida…

GOP Candidate Blakeman Claims Victory In Nassau Supervisor Race Against Incumbent Curran Republican Bruce Blakeman has declared victory in the Nassau County executive’s race, though incumbent Democrat Laura Curran has yet to concede. With nearly 100 percent of the county’s 1,205 precincts counted, Blakeman had a lead over Curran of 135,842 (52.25 percent) versus 124,008 (47,70 percent), though Curran has stated that there are still absentee votes to be tallied.

Denied: Pennsylvania Supreme Court Tosses Trump Campaign's Bucks County Appeal Pennsylvania's Supreme Court tossed an emergency appeal request filed by Donald Trump's Campaign over less than 2,000 Bucks County election ballots. Trump's campaign sued the Bucks County Board of Elections a week after the election, saying 2,177 absentee and mail-in ballots didn't adhere to code requirements. The suit says those ballots did not have the voter's handwritten name, address or date on the return envelopes, and some were enclosed in "unsealed" privacy envelopes.
