A man who has been on the run for more than six years is wanted by New York State Police investigators on Long Island. An alert was issued as detectives attempt to locate Luis Barrera, who was arrested for driving while intoxicated on March 29, 2014. Barrera later failed to show up to court appearances, and a bench warrant was issued for his arrest on July 23, 2014. Police described Barrera, 43, as being 5-foot-4 weighing approximately 170 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes. A Long Island man who has been wanted by New York State Police for the better part of a decade following his arrest for alleged impaired driving. New York State Police investigators in East Meadow issued an alert for Samuel Edwards, 33, who was arrested for driving while intoxicated on Nov. 17, 2013 and i snow wanted by police and the Nassau County First District Court. New York State Police investigators in East Meadow are seeking the public’s assistance as they attempt to locate Dejohn Robeson, who was arrested on July 4, 2006, and charged with criminal mischief. Man Wanted For Criminal Possession Of Weapon, Bail Jumping
An alert has been issued for a wanted man considered to be violent by New York State Police in Sullivan County. Daniel McKoy is wanted by New York State Police in Wurtsboro for criminal possession of a weapon and bail jumping. Police said that McKoy was initially arrested on the weapons charge and the bail jumping charge was later tacked on when he was arrested in California and extradited back to New York.
