A man from the area was issued 26 traffic tickets and charged with DWI after he allegedly left the scene of a crash.
A Greene County resident Szitter Zoltan, age 30, of Catskill, was arrested in Ulster County in Saugerties on Saturday, April 23.

Mother Charged After Suffolk County Crash Critically Injures Her 4-Year-Old Daughter
A Long Island mother has been arrested for driving while impaired by drugs following a crash that critically injured her 4-year-old daughter.
The crash took place around 11:40 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 13, on Flanders Road in the town of Southampton, said the New York State Police.
According to Trooper Daniel Ahlgrim, the collision occurred between a 2005 Toyota Rav 4 and a 2022 Volkswagen Tiguan.

A man involved in a hit-and-run crash and police chase was charged with aggravated DWI twice in the span of three days in the area, state police said.
On Monday, Oct. 5 at approximately 1:10 p.m., State Police Middletown responded to Garnet Health in the town of Wallkill for a report of a hit-and-run in the parking lot.

Woman Found Passed Out Behind Wheel In Northern Westchester Charged With DWI, Police Say
A woman found asleep behind the wheel in the middle of the day at a red light in Westchester was reportedly driving with a blood alcohol level more than double the legal limit, police said.
Officers from the Yorktown Police Department responded to a stretch of Bound Brook Lane at approximately 4:35 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 28, police said. Upon arrival, the officers found a woman passed out in the driver’s seat.
