The victim was unconscious but breathing, Police Chief Jacqueline Lutchke said after he was stung multiple times in the area of the Stop & Shop shopping center on Franklin Avenue shortly after 10:40 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 21. "After receiving epinephrine he did begin to regain consciousness and was transported to The Valley Hospital for treatment," the chief said.

20-Year-Old Man Killed In Weekend Hamilton Crash: Police A 20-year-old man was killed in a car crash over the weekend in Hamilton, authorities said. Police responded to the crash in the area of 390 Bridge Street around 9:44 p.m. on Sunday, July 31, Hamilton Police said on Facebook.  Upon arrival, the male victim had to pulled from his 2014 Volkswagen Jetta and flown to a local hospital where he later died, police said.  Initial investigation suggested the driver veered off the side of the road for reasons currently unknown. The crash remains under investigation.

Agawam Man Dies After Falling From Cliff on Provin Mountain, Reports Say A 20-year-old man from Agawam has died after calling from a 100-foot cliff in Southwick, multiple news outlets report. Southwick Police, Agawam Fire and Agawam Police all responded about a search of a person believed to be in a quarry on Provin Mountain around 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday, July 26, Western Mass News reports.  Police told the outlet the young man “was determined to have died due to injuries from a fall." At least a dozen emergency vehicles were reportedly on scene, WWLP reports.  The man's death remains under investigation.
