An 18-year-old man is dead after crashing their car into a tree in Montgomery County on Monday, June 26, authorities say. It happened around 7:15 a.m., Franconia Township police wrote in a release. The driver of a Ford sedan was on Schoolhouse Road near the corner with Halteman Road when he left the roadway and struck the tree, the department said. A 50-year-old woman was hospitalized with severe injuries after police said she was struck by a vehicle on Long Island. The crash happened in North Hills at about 4:45 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 18, according to the Nassau County Police Department. An 18-year-old man was driving a 2020 Volvo north on Searingtown Road when the Volvo struck a woman in the area of 333 Searingtown Road, NCPD said. An 18-year-old man was in critical condition after being shot seven times Tuesday morning in Philadelphia, Fox News reports. The black male was shot twice in the leg, twice in the arm, and once in the stomach, thigh and chest around 11 a.m. on the unit block of North 40th Street, the outlet said.
