CROTON-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. -- The high school basketball season goes full court this week when the Croton-Harmon High School boys and girls junior varsity and varsity teams host the Croton Booster Club's 2012 Robert E. Mayclim Memorial Basketball Tournament.

Teams from Dobbs Ferry, Hastings, Haldane, Putnam Valley and Byram Hills high schools will visit Croton High School on Thursday for the start of a three-day tournament hosted by the Tigers.

Thom set the single season mark of 141 assists last winter.

The Mayclim Tournament opens Thursday at 5 p.m. with junior varsity girls and varsity boys first-round games in the auxiliary gymnasium. In the boys varsity tournament, Dobbs Ferry faces Hastings at 5:15 p.m., while the hometown Tigers meet Putnam Valley in the 7 p.m. game in the main gym.

Friday's games begin with the boys junior varsity games beginning with Dobbs Ferry and Hastings at 5 p.m. followed by Putnam Valley and Croton-Harmon at 7 p.m. The first-round girls varsity games will feature Dobbs Ferry versus Haldane at 5:15 p.m. followed by Putnam Valley and Croton at 7 p.m.

Winners of the opening round games will meet Saturday beginning at 9:30 a.m. with the junior varsity consolation and championship games in the auxiliary gym. The varsity consolation and championship games will be played in the main gym beginning at 1:15 p.m. with the finals at 5:15 and 7 p.m.
