The event takes place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Copper Beech Middle School.
For donations, hair should be at least 8 inches, clean and dry and braided or pony-tailed. All hair in good condition is accepted, but non-chemically treated is preferred. Gray hair is accepted. Licensed hair stylists will cut the hair of donors for free.
The organization's mission is the empowerment of children with hair loss with high-quality hairpieces that are available to families that may not have the financial means to purchase one.
