Croton-Harmon Schools Dismiss Early Due To Nemo

CROTON-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. - Croton-Harmon School District announced it will dismiss schools early Friday, ahead of winter storm Nemo.

Croton-Harmon High School and Pierre Van Cortlandt Middle School dismiss at 10 a.m. and Carrie E. Tompkins Elementary School dismisses at 10:45 a.m.

The National Weather Service is predicting Nemo will dump between 12 and 15 inches of snow on the tri-state area, with heavier accumulations developing within snow bands. The heaviest snow and strongest winds are expected to occur Friday evening into Saturday morning.

NWS is predicting  visibility near zero and white-out conditions.
