Croton-Harmon HS Sees Increase In AP Scholars

CROTON, N.Y. -- The College Board announced that 81 students from Croton-Harmon High School have earned AP Scholar Awards in recognition of their exceptional achievement on Advanced Placement exams.

This marks the third consecutive year that CHHS has seen an increase in AP scholars. 

“The number of AP scholars named at our school continues to rise and the contributing factor is the increase in AP offerings as we make the exams available to more students,” CHHS Principal Alan Capasso said in a statement. “Having so many AP scholars – including four National AP scholars – is impressive. This is a testament to our students and staff and the support of our central administration and Board of Education.”

Below is a complete list of CHHS students recognized by the College Board.

Four students qualified for the National AP Scholar Award by earning an average score of at least 4 on all AP exams taken, and scores of 4 or higher on eight or more of these exams:
