Most of the town and village government races in the Rivertowns, Tarrytown-Irvington and Greenburgh are uncontested. There also are several statewide propositions and referendums up for vote, including issues on casino gambling and age limits for certain state judges.
County Legislator Mary Jane Shimsky is running unopposed for her seat in the 12th District, which includes Ardsley, Dobbs Ferry, Hastings, Irvington and parts of unincorporated Greenburgh-Edgemont and most of Hartsdale.
