Yorktown Police report Detola has been charged with criminal contempt. On the evening of Aug. 12 a local resident reported that an order of protection was violated four days earlier.
The alleged incident took place on the evening of Aug. 8 in the Mohegan Lake area. The defendant reportedly violated an order of protection by coming to the same location as the victim to damage his car according to Yorktown Police.
