CORTLANDT, N.Y. -- Two teenagers have been arrested and charged with burglarizing the Our Lady Of Mount Carmel Society .

Miguel Reyes and Benjaman Knowles, both 18-year-olds from Verplanck, were charged with burglary in the third degree, (a Class D felony). Reyes was arrested on July 18 while Knowles was arrested on August 6. Knowles was also charged with unlawful possession of alcohol by a person under 21.

The men forcibly entered the area, which is an nonprofit Italian-American Club at 155 Highland Ave. in Verplanck, police said. While inside, the suspects stole an undetermined amount of money and several cans of beer from the non-profit Italian-American club, according to police.
