Police: Verplanck Pair Stayed Overnight In Watergate Motel Without Paying

VERPLANCK, N.Y. -- A pair of Verplanck women who snuck into the Watergate Motel in Croton-on-Hudson and spent the night a couple of times in December, were caught on Monday after the motel called the New York State Police to complain.

Sarah Pisanelli, 19, and Carrie F. Roberts, 23,  were charged with two counts of criminal trespass after an investigation by troopers revealed the duo had stayed overnight at the motel in Croton-on-Hudson, without permission or paying on two occasions, said state police.

Both were arraigned in the Town of Cortlandt Court and released on their own recognizance. They are scheduled to appear in Cortlandt Court on Dec. 27.
