State Police are asking the public's help in their search for a 59-year-old Cortlandt resident who hasn't been seen in nearly two weeks.

Joseph Sharpe is reported to have left Mohegan Park located on Lexington Avenue in Mohegan Lake on Jan. 26.

He is described as being 5-foot-8, 160 pounds with black hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing gray sweatpants, a white T-shirt, a black nylon jacket and a black baseball cap with “New York City” written on the front, police said.

Sharpe suffers from mental illness and may be in need of medication, according to police.

Anyone with information on Sharpe’s whereabouts is asked to contact State Police's Cortlandt barracks by calling (914) 769-2600. All calls can be kept confidential.
