CROTON-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. -- The mother of 6-year-old Lacey Carr, who was found unconscious along with her daughter in their Croton-On-Hudson home in April, has been upgraded to fair condition at Phelps Memorial Hospital Center in Sleepy Hollow.
Both were taken to Phelps where Lacey was pronounced dead. Dymes had previously been in critical condition, according to Tina Dorfman, a spokeswoman for Phelps.
Dymes and Lacey were found by Lacey's father, David Carr. Dymes and Lacey lived at the home with Dymes' father, Kevin.
Detective Sgt. John Nikitopoulos of the Croton-on-Hudson Police Department, said they are still waiting the results of a toxicology report.
Police have ruled out carbon monoxide as a cause.
