Croton Volunteer Fire Department Gears Up For Annual "Fire Fair"

CROTON, N.Y. -- The Croton-on-Hudson Volunteer Fire Department's annual "Fire Fair" on Sunday, Oct. 6 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Harmon Firehouse.

The Fire Fare is held every year in conjunction with National Fire Prevention Week. This year's focus will be on kitchen fire safety.

The fair features fire safety "stations" for children and adults to complete, and those that complete the stations will receive a fire truck ride around the neighborhood. There will also be magic shows, a fire truck slide, fire extinguisher demonstrations and refreshments.

The Harmon firehouse is located at 30 Wayne Street in Croton-on-Hudson.
