Croton-On-Hudson Summerfest Kicks Off Despite Clouds

CROTON-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. -- Rainy weather didn't cancel the 30th Annual Croton-on-Hudson Summerfest Celebration, held Sunday, June 5.

Croton-on-Hudson FD apparatus and members started at Veterans Corners heading north past Croton-Harmon High School and towards the Upper Village, ending past Grand Street Firehouse.

The event kicked off with the parade, featuring the Croton-on-Hudson Fire Department apparatus and members, who made their way into the upper village for a day full of food and entertainment.

Vendors included Tagine Restaurant, Coldwell Banker, Hudson Valley Birth Network, Healthy Home Energy and Consulting, Rotary Club of Croton on Hudson, Sherri's Heirloom Soaps and more.

There were also children's games and attractions and music.
