CORTLANDT MANOR, N.Y. - Vincenza Continelli of Cortlandt Manor died Sept. 26. She was 93.
Continelli was born May 27, 1920, in Peekskill, to Nicholas and Lucia Rubustello. She married Salvatore Continelli. She worked for the New York City Board of Education PS 14 Bruckner Blvd in the Bronx, retiring in 1986. She was active with the Cortlandt Community Center playing Bingo and Crocheting.
Continelli is survived by her daughters, Lucy Nesto (William) and Josephine Femia (Rocco); four grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours are Sunday, Sept. 29 from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Yorktown Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 30 at The Church of the Holy Spirit. Interment to follow at Pinelawn National Cemetery.
