Mary Albanese, 96, Former Buchanan Resident

WEST CHESTER, Pa. - Mary Albanese of West Chester, formerly of Buchanan, N.Y., died Nov. 9. She was 96.

Albanese was born June 11, 1917, in Buchanan, N.Y., to Nicola and Teresa Generose Salicco. She was a seamstress at Nan Flower in Peekskill. She was a member of the Buchanan and Cortlandt Senior Citizens.

Albanese is survived a daughter, Frances Parisi (Peter) of Malvern, Pa.; five grandchildren; six great grandchildren; brother, Nicholas Salicco of New Windsor, N.Y.; and sister, Helen Scalzo of Tucson, Ariz. She was predeceased by her husband, Frank Albanese; and daughter, Carol Ann Ilich.

Calling hours are Tuesday, Nov. 12  from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home, Peekskill, N.Y. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 13  at the Church of the Assumption. Entombment to follow at Hillside Cemetery.
