Born in Utica, N.Y., to Frank and Sophie (Biernat) Sliwa, Arensburg worked for many years as a nursing instructor at Westchester Community College.
She is survived by her children, David Arensburg, Edie Garvey and Paul Arensburg, and her grandchildren.
Arensburg was predeceased by her husband, Leonard Arensburg.
Visitation hours will be from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 17, at the Edward F. Carter Funeral Home, 41 Grand St., in Croton-on-Hudson. A Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 18, at Holy Name of Mary Church, also in Croton-on-Hudson. Burial will follow at St. Augustine Cemetery in Ossining.
