Carmela was my Godmother and one of my mother's best friends. I loved her very much. Living in Florida made it very difficult for visits so I tried to call her on a regular basis but she had been so ill lately that I had not spoken to her in many months. I will miss her dearly. My heart goes out to Marie and Charlie! She was a great woman with a huge heart!
