CORTLANDT MANOR, N.Y. -- Astrid Hopkins, a longtime Cortlandt Manor resident, died on Friday, March 4. She was 88.
Born in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, Hopkins is survived by her husband, Richard Gilpin Hopkins; daughter Susan; nieces Martha and Nancy, and nephew Reed, all of Virginia; and several cousins in Norway and Sweden.
She was predeceased by her parents, Charles Olsen and Augusta Johnsen Olsen.
Visiting hours will be from 11 a.m. to noon on Friday, March 11, at Balsamo-Cordovano Funeral Home, 15 Church St., in Carmel. A graveside service will follow at 12:30 p.m. at Raymond Hill Cemetery, Dykeman Road, in Carmel.
