WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. – Have you had your fill of “Cold enough for you?” comments?

Westchester County residents will undoubtedly be hearing more for a couple more days.

Especially on Tuesday, which will be mostly sunny and winds between 20 and 30 miles per hour and highs only reaching 10 degrees above zero. Some wind gusts will be up to 45 miles per hour, with a wind-chill factor as low as 20 below.

Both wind and wind-chill advisories are in effect until 6 p.m. on Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service.

Tuesday night lows will be around 3 degrees, with a wind chill factor between 10 and 15 below zerio.

The cold continues on Wednesday with a high between 18-20 degrees under sunny skies.

It will warm up a bit on Thursday with a high between 28-30 under partly sunny skies.

The outlook for Friday is mostly cloudy with a high temperature around 42.

The next chance for precipitation is Friday night, with a chance of rain, possibly turning to snow overnight.

Any snow will turn to rain Saturday as the high temperature is expected to be near 50.

Please, if anyone out there is even thinking of leaving their dog or cat outside in this weather, DON'T. My heart breaks for all the abandoned street cats out there in this weather struggling to survive.
