VA Hudson Valley Healthcare System Holding Two Memorial Day Events

MONTROSE, N.Y. -- The VA Hudson Valley Health Care System will commemorate Memorial Day with a pair of ceremonial events.

The first will be held on Wednesday, May 25, at 10 a.m. at the Castle Point campus memorial garden, 41 Castle Point Road in Wappingers Falls.

The second will take place on Thursday, May 26, at 10 a.m. at the Franklin D. Roosevelt Montrose campus sculpture garden, 2094 Albany Post Road in Montrose.

The guest speaker at each event will be U.S. Army Lt. Col Frederick H. Black Jr., assistant professor in the department of history at the U.S. Military Academy, West Point

Black is a veteran of Operations Iraqi Freedom and New Dawn, and is a 1994 West Point graduate.
