Mostly cloudy skies will prevail on Monday with wet weather moving into the area after 1 p.m. Chance of rain is 50 percent, the National Weather Service said. 

Showers and thunderstorms could remain on Tuesday with a high of 81. Chance of rain is around 30 percent. 

Sun will return on Wednesday before showers return on Thursday.
