MONTROSE, N.Y. -- Several groups gathered at the Hendrick Hudson Free Library in Montrose on Wednesday, Dec. 11, to speak out against the proposed expansion of the Algonquin natural gas pipeline, according to theexaminernews.com. 

More than 100 people came to listen to a panel of guests discuss the potential drawbacks and new dangers that would result from the expansion project that is proposed by the Texas-based company, Spectra Energy, theexaminernews.com reported.
