Motorists Advised To Use Caution As Area Of Snow Moves Through Westchester

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- An area of snow has moved from Northern New Jersey through the Lower Hudson Valley and Southeastern Connecticut and is expected to impact the tristate area through the morning, the National Weather Service said.

Visibilities will be reduced to one-half mile during the heaviest bands and 1 mile in other areas.

One inch of accumulation is expected from the system, which is expected to wind down by 11 a.m. Some areas could see up to 2 inches.

Motorists are advised to use caution.
