Gusty Winds, Cold Air Will Return To Cortlandt

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. --  It shouldn't be as severe as the windstorm that knocked out power to thousands in Westchester on Sunday, but there will be wind gusts as high as 32 miles per hour on Friday, following by a burst of cold air, according to the National Weather Service.

Clouds, rain and wind will threaten Westchester County through Friday.

Cloudy skies will prevail on Friday with a slight chance of showers in the early morning. Winds, out of the northwest at 15 to 21 miles per hour, will pick up as well. High temperatures are expected to be in the low 50s with the aforementioned wind gusts up to 32 mph.

Skies will clear by Saturday with high temperatures around 47 and much calmer winds.
