ORIGINAL REPORT (10 a.m.):

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- After being slammed by a snowstorm and record cold, Westchester County drivers are facing the dangers of ice with a freezing rain advisory in effect until 1 p.m. Sunday, the National Weather Service said.

A glaze of ice could make travel treacherous, especially on untreated and elevated services, the weather service said.

Freezing rain and freezing drizzle could lead to a trace of ice accumulation across the morning with temperatures in the lower 20s.

The precipitation should change to all rain by early afternoon.

Drivers should exercise caution.

It will be cloudy, with a high near 39 on Sunday afternoon. Rain is expected Sunday night.

More rain showers and highs in the 40s are expected Sunday, with snow possible in the evening as temperatures drop back into single digits overnight.
