Over 200 bolts were considered degraded, which is a sign that they've begun to crack, in the plant's Unit 2 reactor, reported lohud.com.

That comes to about 11 percent of the bolts used in the reactor going back decades, reported lohud.com.

The reactor was being inspected as part of preparations to get it back online by the end of June, and repair work has begun on the bolts, the lohud.com report noted.
