CROTON, N.Y. -- The Stanley H. Kellerhouse Municipal Building, at 1 Van Wyck St., will act as a cooling center in Croton-on-Hudson this week during the heatwave, village officials announced Tuesday.

"Due to the heat advisory, the Village has activated a cooling center in the Community Room at the Stanley H. Kellerhouse Municipal Building starting immediately," officials said in a news release. "Village personnel will not be on site. Please bring water, food and any other supplies you and your family might need while staying at the cooling center. The cooling center in the Municipal Building will remain open until the heat advisory has ended. Should anything change, appropriate notifications will be made."
