"Just as everyone was ready to go back home, Croton Fire and EMS were dispatched to Route 9 Southbound for a reported motor vehicle accident with entrapment," said representatives with the fire department on the department's website.
Representatives said in the report that Engines 119 and 120 and Rescue 18 arrived on scene and Deputy Chief J. Streany "reported one patient entrapped in the overturned vehicle," according to the report.
"Engine 119 was on the scene moments later with a crew of six, and with the help of Croton Police, were able to get the patient out of the vehicle and into the care of Croton EMS," representatives said in the report.
