Cortlandt State Troopers Investigate Multi-Car Accident On Route 9

CORTLANDT, N.Y. -- New York State Police from the Cortlandt barracks are investigating a serious, multi-vehicle accident that occurred on State Route 9 near Watergrass Lane in Garrison on Thursday, Dec. 19, police officials said.

The accident occurred just before 8 a.m. and involved a gray Jeep, a white cargo van and a red sedan, State Police said.

Route 9 will be closed for an extended period of time while the State Police Accident Investigation Unit reconstructs the accident, according to State Police.
