Croton Man Wins Volunteer Of The Year Award

CROTON-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. – Edward Langan, a longtime volunteer for Sky View Rehabilitation & Health Care in Croton-on-Hudson, was honored recently by New York State.

Langan was the winner of the Senior Adult Volunteer of the Year award from the New York State Health Facilities Association/New York State Center for Assisted Living, handed out on June 28 at the annual NYSHFA/NYSCAL convention in Bolton Landing.

He has been a consistent presence at Sky View for the past four years, logging more than a thousand hours visiting with residents

“Edward’s commitment and dedication to our residents is greatly appreciated,” Sky View Administrator Steven Share said in a statement.
