Run On Hudson Valley Offers Weekly Running, Spring Training Programs

CROTON-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. -- The running store Run On Hudson Valley is offering spring training programs both for beginners and more experienced runners.

On Saturday, Feb. 27, RoHV will host an information session for its "Couch to 5K," 10k and 1/2 marathon training programs. Folks can meet the running coach, get details about the programs and partake in free refreshments. The session begins at 11 a.m.

These 10-week programs feature a custom training plan created by a RoHV running coach, as well as weekly group runs with the coach.They are $99, for the whole program.

The store will offer mobility/core strength classes on Sundays at 9:30 a.m., from Feb. 28 to May 1. The 45-minute classes are suitable for all experience levels. It costs $20 per class.

RoHV also offers regular running sessions:

Thursday group run -- all levels and abilities welcome. Meet at RoHV every Thursday at 6 p.m. for a 4-5-mile run. Post-run refreshments are free.

Saturday women-only group run -- all levels and abilities welcome. Meet at RoHV every Saturday at 9:30 a.m. for a 4-5-mile run. Post-run refreshments are free.

The store is located at 383 South Riverside Ave., in Croton-on-Hudson. You can register for these programs online or at the store.
